Expert oak wilt treatment AT Texas Land & Tree

We provide macro-injection treatments to help save impacted oaks as recommended by the Texas Forest Service. We use our extensive knowledge and top of the line equipment to help minimize losses throughout Central Texas.

Our oak wilt trenching services are aimed at stopping movement into new areas, while saving trees and minimizing the losses across a property. We trench to 52" depths exceeding Forest Service recommendations, to better improve success rates of the trench. By observing root depth while cutting, we can determine if further excavation would be beneficial, and have dug between 8ft-12ft at times when deep roots are a concern and soft ground compositions create issues.

We offer pre-purchase property inspections to help identify oak wilt issues for new owners, detailing concerns and associated costs that they should be aware of. These inspections are also a valuable tool to help property management groups and large land owners stay ahead of any oak wilt related issues. Drones may be utilized to assist and gather information for reports depending on the size of the property, as well as to help navigate any challenging terrain.

We develop plans for tree removals that benefit any completed treatments or trenching services, increasing success rates of the overall project. Sometimes oak wilt is not so obvious when diagnosing. In times of uncertainty, diagnostic sampling can be completed to make sure an oak wilt response is warranted. These samples can be caught, cold-packed, and overnighted to the TAMU Diagnostic Laboratory when necessary.
